Το μαθηματαριον ειναι γεννημα του 14-15ου αιωνα. Αυτη ειναι η λεγομενη εποχη της καλοφωνιας. Τοτε ηταν η ανθιση αυτων των συνθεσεων, με μια δευτερη αναγεννηση του ολου πραγματος στον 17ο αι.

/Mathimatárion is a Byzantine psalm, composed during 14-15th century, during the so-called calophony era (~from greek ΄καλός~beautiful and φωνή~voice ). At that times hppened a bloom of these compositions, with a second renaissance during 17th century.
